What our full-time farmers are bringing this week:
18th Century Purity Farm – Vegetables this week are green beans, yellow beans, summer squash, patty pan squash, onions, garlic, spaghetti squash, and assorted varieties of potatoes, including fingerlings. For fruit, we will have a few plums, but plenty of apples, with Mac, Cortland, Summer Champion, and a limited amount of Honeycrisp. Friends of the Market receive a $1 discount on total purchase.
Colgan Farm, LLC – (no spray farm) Off this week.
Deercrest Farm – Deercrest Farm will be bringing blueberries, apples, pears, plums, peaches, nectarines, corn, summer squash, pickles, cucumbers, kale, Swiss chard, and tomatoes.
Easy Pickins Orchard – Visit us for red and green kale, Tuscan kale, chard, lettuce, mini romaine, bok choy, tatsoi, Napa, green round and red Savoy cabbage, beets, carrots, okra, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, onions, tomatoes, slicing and pickling cucumbers, summer squash, broccoli, kohlrabi, dill, cilantro, basil, thyme, sage, rosemary, raspberries and apples.
Ekonk Turkey Farm – If you’re looking for pasture raised meats and poultry, please visit us. We will also have turkey salad, and pastured chicken eggs.
Fenner Forest Farms – This week we will have pioppino, lion’s mane, pink, gold and other oyster varieties.
MadManMicros – This week MadManMicros will have the following microgreens: Spicy Salad mix, Superfood Mix, Pea shoots, Sunflower shoots, Broccoli, Red Acre cabbage, and Lemon Basil.
New Boston Beef and The Kitchen at New Boston Beef – CT grown, USDA Inspected, grass-fed, no hormone added, antibiotic-free beef and specials from the kitchen including Sunset salsa, eggplant salsa, corn salsa, kimchi, and New Boston Beef caviar.
Phoenix Farm – Offering Certified Organic produce. Visit us this week for Kennebec potatoes, Yukon Gold potatoes, garlic, onions, cucumbers, baby bell peppers, eggplant and Swiss chard. Friends of the Market receive 10% off $10.00 or more.
Proctor-Hall Farm – (Pork and Chicken Farm) – We will be bringing chops, spare ribs, belly, jowl, picnic shoulder, pork butt, ground pork, sweet and hot Italian, bratwurst, breakfast sausage, bacon, whole and half birds, thighs, wings, drumsticks, breast, and eggs.
Shenstone Gardens – We’ll have large slicing tomatoes, Sungold cherry, grape tomatoes, and a new large heart shaped cherry tomato, eggplant, basil and kale.
River Ridge Farm – Visit us for eggplant, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, Dino and curly kale, chard, garlic, sweet Italian frying peppers, bell peppers, Shishito peppers, pac choi, salad mix, head lettuce, fennel, Napa cabbage, arugula, apples, radishes, watermelon and flowers.
Riverview Farm – Visit us this week for squash, zucchini, slicing tomatoes, canning tomatoes, grape/cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, cabbage, green beans, kale, collard greens, Swiss chard, and fresh flower bouquets. Our Friends of the Market special is a $1 off when you spend $10.
Stonewall Apiary – Stonewall Apiary will be at the market again this week with wildflower honey, honey butter, and more. If you’re interested in trying out beekeeping as a hobby, be sure to ask about our upcoming Beginner Beekeeping classes! They’re on sale for a limited time! And our special for Friends of the Market is $1.00 off any infused honey. See you at the market!

Fat Stone Farm LLC – Certified organic maple syrup in Amber, Dark and Very Dark (formerly “Grade B”), our farm-fermented and infused vinegars (made with stuff we grow!), organic elderberry juice and syrup (some is from our new elderberry harvest this past month), Elderberry Gummy Kits and our new organic Sodas — elderberry cherry and maple vanilla. Friends of the Market get a free 2-oz maple syrup.

*Keifer’s Kettle Korn – New this week, we will have Italian Fritta’s. These are similar to a fried dough, but a sweeter recipe. We fry these right in the kettle and we serve them warm with chocolate, powdered sugar, strawberry puree, whatever the customer chooses. Refill your 32 oz cups filled with fresh squeezed lemonade for only $3.00 for the entire season and even year to year!

Peach & Blueberry Crumble – fresh picked peaches and blueberries from Crooke’s Orchard. BBQ Smash Bowl – layers of crumbled cornbread, pork & pit beans, mac & cheese, choice of meat, topped with shredded monterey cheese, pickled onions, and our KC sauce. Harvest Punch – blend of autumn spices and juices with a little added fizz from ginger ale. Option to add to your mimosa. FULL MENU – meat platters, sandwiches, street tacos, and bowls. Munchies – Real Food… Real Fresh…Real Good…Munchies Food Truck specializes in fresh-made vegetarian falafel. We hand bread our marinated fried chicken tenders to order. Our old school smash burgers are made with fresh ground black angus beef. We have been voted best food truck/best burger in Connecticut Magazine for the last several years.
