This Week’s Vendors – October 29, 2023

What our full-time farmers are bringing this week:

18th Century Purity Farms* – For the last outdoor market, we will come loaded with carrots, kale, broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, fennel, sweet potatoes, garlic, and potatoes (fingerlings, All Blue, Bluegold and red-skinned). We will have a great selection of apple varieties, with Mac, Macoun, Cortland, Gala, Fuji, and many heirlooms, such as Caville Blanc, Newtown Pippin, Rhode Island Greening, and Roxbury Russet. We also will have Sheldon pears, a very rare variety. Remember that we will also be attending the Coventry Winter Market starting Nov. 12 at Coventry High School, 10am -12:30pm.

Colgan Farm* – Visit us for brussels sprouts, heirloom carrots, yellow onions, red and watermelon radish, purple top turnips, miniature pumpkins and gourds. Friends of the Market will receive $1 of $15 or more.

Easy Pickin’s Orchard* Green round and red savoy cabbage, tatsoi, Napa cabbage, green curly kale, celery, collards, carrots, beets, turnips, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, tomatoes, gold tomatoes, leeks, kohlrabi, cilantro, parsley, and dill.

Ekonk Hill Turkey Farm* – We will have pastured meats and poultry, turkey salad, chicken, and eggs.

Proctor Hall Farm* This week visit us for pork chops, pork shoulder, pork ribs, pork belly, pork jowl, ground pork, hot Italian and chorizo sausage, bratwurst, hot dogs, kielbasa, ham steak, and bacon. We also will have whole, half chickens, and eggs.

River Ridge Farm* – This week we will have curly kale, Dino kale, many varieties of cabbage including purple Napa cabbage, black garlic, garlic, carrots, broccoli, leeks, peppers, eggplant, winter squash, ginger, collards, parsley, sage, mesclun mix, lettuce mix, broccoli raab, celeriac, and arugula. 

Shenstone Gardens* We will have the last of the tomatoes along with wreaths and decorations for the holidays from Exquisite Designs by Suzanne.

Stonewall Apiary* – We will have plenty of Wildflower Honey and Honey Butter, so you can stock up for the winter!  We’ll also have a selection of beeswax candles – perfect for gifts and for your holiday table.  Our Friends of the Market special is $2 off any 2-lb or larger Wildflower Honey!
